About Unearthed Gemstones

Hello! I’m Teri Kotantoulas, creator and designer of Unearthed Gemstones. Since childhood, I’ve been captivated by the natural stones I found during beach visits, river walks, and hikes.

I would collect and tumble these treasures, transforming them into jewelry for myself and a few friends. Amazingly, I still have some of those early stones, and my passion for collecting continues whenever I encounter something special in nature. Their energy always calls to me.

Now, I bring my designs to you, allowing you to enjoy and benefit from their unique energies. As a Licensed Esthetician and Reiki Master, I infuse healing Reiki energy into every piece I create.

Each piece of jewelry is made with ethically sourced pure gemstones – no dyed or synthetic stones unless explicitly stated – and high-quality findings. Some designs draw inspiration from my Greek heritage, featuring elements like the Greek evil eye (Mati) and Komboloi (Greek worry beads).

I’ve also perfected the art of candle-making, offering uniquely and naturally scented soy/coconut wax blend candles. Each candle is hand-poured by me into a beautiful, reusable vessel, adorned with genuine gemstones to complement and ehnance the energy of the scent.

Each piece I create is a love letter to my Greek roots – and every gem and candle is infused with healing Reiki energy to carry intention, not just beauty.
